Description |
: Navy blue rock , showing white spots; compact,
equigranular, medium grained. Polished section shows
slight color variations and few diaclases. |
Petrographic Analyses |
: Intersertal texture. Plaglioclase is the dominant feldpar.
Microline is less abundant. Sodalite occpies intertices
within Feldspar laths . Sometimes incipient alteration to
carbonate is observed. Cancrinite occurs as alteration
product at the plaglioclase borders. |
